Prior to coming to Loeb Properties, Matt spent over five years as First Vice President of National Commerce Bank Services (NCBS), a division of National Commerce Financial Corporation. At NCBS, the company that pioneered the in-store banking concept, Matt was responsible for the grocery retailer relationships nationwide and served as manager of the in-store bank design and construction team.

Matt is a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago where he majored in Political Science. He used his political skills while working for six years in the United States Senate in Washington, DC, as an aide to former U.S. Senator J. Bennet Johnston of Louisiana. Matt now calls Memphis his home and is involved in the community serving as an Executive Board Member of Habitat for Humanity and a Development Board Member at Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association (MIFA). He also serves as the chairperson of the Advocacy Committee of the Memphis chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Matt is a licensed Affiliate Real Estate Broker in Tennessee and Mississippi.
