Carey joined Loeb Properties in January 2001 as a Property Manager and Leasing Agent. He began his real estate career with Henry Turley Company, where he served as Commercial Property Manager and later as Director of Commercial Property Management. Carey graduated Cum Laude from Christian Brothers University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and he studied graduate level business at the University of Memphis. Carey is also a licensed Affiliate Real Estate Broker in Tennessee and Mississippi.

Carey is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and served as its President in 2003. He holds the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and is a member of the Memphis Chapter of CCIM. Additionally, Carey serves on the Board of Directors of the Chickasaw Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
